Castellans Javea apart from actually living in the old town this is about as close as you can get. There are no apartments or Townhouses for sale in this area, mainly made up of Fincas for sale, these properties were originally farmhouses built with very thick walls, most of these properties retain their original appearances including terracotta floor tiles, tosca areches and tosca walls, the tosca has been cut from the beach area of Javea and has ver high insulating properties and also looks beautiful. There are quite a lot of local fiestas held in the Javea old town, so the Castellans area would be ideal to walk there and back to the local celebrations and not have a problem with having to drive. The Montgo Natural park is also within close proximity having various mapped out paths for walking, one of these walks can take you to the very top of the mountain and takes around two hours and is only recommended for experienced walkers. as you can imagine the views from the top of the mountain are breathtaking, having views of 360 degrees, including the Denia harbour, and the mountain range of Bernia, inland from Benissa.
